Los tipos de interés son un elemento clave para las hipotecas. En el caso de las hipotecas a tipo variable referenciadas al Euribor, lo que haga el banco central con el precio del dinero afectará directamente al tipo de interés que pagan por su capital. En el ámbito hipotecario es habitual referirnos a los tipos de interés y los movimientos de los bancos centrales respecto a los mismos. No en vano estamos hablando de uno de los factores que sirve para determinar el famoso Euribor, el índice referencia hipotecario más utilizado en el país.
Y para las hipotecas multidivisa es todavía más importante porque es precisamente el diferencial entre el tipo de interés de la divisa nativa con respecto a la divisa de financiación lo que hace atractivo este producto. Dicho de otro modo, lo que se busca es que el coste de la operación financiera sea menor que en la divisa nativa u original del titular.
